We are starting a mini course on Wednesday February 10th, by play from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.
This is a course for advanced players, covering bidding, declarer play and defense. Bridge expert Ron Fischer is teaching with his enthusiastic style.
Those of you who are not always counting, be ready for Ron to convince you that advanced Bridge starts with counting.
Have fun with Ron.

This is a course for rubber bridge and novice duplicate players who want to find out why bridge is such an addictive game.
A half-hour of fun and learning with Buddy Marsh will help you unlock the mysteries of this fascinating game.
Buddy's enthusiam and special brand of learning will help your game immediately.
The play will be supervised by the director.

Both the course and play are free of charge for the first six weeks.

We wish to extend a hearty welcome to all players and especially newcomers to the "New Club in Town".
 
 
We wish to maintain a congenial, very friendly environment, where the more experienced players will be strongly discouraged from being rude or intimidating to players with less experience.

 We also aim to encourage with some special features:
1. Overall winners get a free entry.
2. The club will put $20 and increase the jackpot $10 when five or more tables play until a maximum of $200 is reached.  Any 72% game wins the jackpot.
3. We will have a 10 to 15 minute discussion of the hands played, after each session.
In order that everyone can enjoy the game undisturbed, we ask the players to postpone questions to the end of the session, when the director will be happy to explain in detail. Boards are shuffled in advance.
4. We will have a bingo game (about 3 minutes) once a week for a free entry.
5. We will not charge extra for special games.
6. The entry fee will decrease $1 for each play during the week (maximum discount is $2).
